Saturday Night Alive
The First Saturday Each Month
Kicking off on Saturday Evening from 4pm to 6pm is our Saturday Night Alive program. The program will remain the same for children. They will play games and learn about what it means to be Christians in the context of a community. The adults will meet upstairs for a time of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. It will be a time we can pray for the needs of the church and for personal needs as well. The evening will end with a fellowship dinner.
By the way, this will be the regular format for Saturday Night Alive. Come and celebrate Christ and His community every month.
The next Meeting will be Saturday, November 5, 2011. While the adults will fellowship in the sanctuary, the kids will be enjoying their own time of fellowship.
The "Exodus" Project
Thanks to all your generosity and hard work, we have been able to help get a refugee family from Burma settled into our neighborhood.
Their apartment was cleaned, furnished, and ready to move in when they arrived. They seem to be settled in and you may have noticed that the family has been attending our church. Even though they speak very little English, please make an effort to get to know them and their story better. I know they feel comfortable and welcomed here.
Thanks for all your prayers, generosity, and hard work in making this project a success.
